Meet Dr. Klose and the Team

Dr. Klose was born in Harare, Zimbabwe, and raised in Lusaka, Zambia. In 2000, she moved to the United States with her parents and older sister — first to the Bay Area of California, then Orlando, where she graduated from Lake Brantley High School at only 16. She earned her B.S. in Micro & Molecular Biology at the University of Central Florida at just 20, and on her 21st birthday received the news she’d been accepted to both dental schools she applied to, the University of Florida and Nova Southeastern University. Between her degrees, she took a year off to work as a dental assistant, learning the ins and outs of the field that would become her career.

She and her husband later relocated to New York City, where she opened West Village Dental Studio and welcomed their two daughters while running the practice. An avid believer in lifelong learning, she stays current on the latest research and technology in dentistry. The family has since returned to Florida and now proudly calls Naples home — with two children and, of course, two fur babies.

At just seven years old, Dr. Zuly and her parents fled Cuba aboard an overcrowded 19-foot boat and were ultimately rescued by the U.S. Coast Guard — early experiences of resilience that shaped her dedication to excellence and compassionate care. In her first uncertain days at a refugee center in the United States, a donated piano became her “first American friend,” sparking a passion for music that has stayed with her ever since. That same love of art and music inspired her throughout her academic journey and continues to shape her practice today.

Between surgeries, you might still find her at the piano — drawing on the same source of comfort that helped a seven-year-old refugee find her footing in a new country. She brings a rare blend of world-class expertise, artistic sensibility, and deeply personal understanding of resilience to every patient she treats.
